Meagan Veitch
Meagan has worked as a therapist for the past eight years, and has spent six of those years working directly with young people, across settings as varied as care and protection, youth coaching, and tutoring. She considers it one of life's great privileges to work alongside young people, and holds a BA in Education and Human Services, has studied psychology, and is an accredited counsellor.
As a therapist, Meagan works 1:1 and in groups, having facilitated groups for both women and children. She believes deeply in the power of one on one work, the space it creates for both a young person and an adult, to truly be seen, and she brings that same depth of care to her counselling and coaching sessions.
As a tutor, Meagan believes learning is one of the most powerful tools we have for building self-esteem and self-efficacy. Academic progress and emotional wellbeing aren't separate for her; she sees a child's confidence in the classroom and their confidence in themselves as deeply connected, which is exactly why her tutoring looks a little different.
Across all of it, Meagan believes it takes a village. No single relationship or setting can do this work alone, which is why she moves fluidly between roles, as a therapist, a facilitator, and a tutor, always meeting young people wherever they need her most.
